Argo Tea at Willis Tower
"Why not work from one of Chicago's great landmarks? While Willis (Sears Tower to locals) is 1,450 feet high (443 meters); 1,730 feet high (520 meters) including twin antennae. You can sit in the lobby, in the West-facing entrance atrium and watch tourists line-up for the SkyDeck to the South. Argo Tea serves fresh/professionally brewed tea. The square communal table closest to the building has several outlets and even though the wifi is not on-brand (they tell you to find another network, not Argo web beams) it means almost unlimited access. Seating with power is limited, but worth the brag that you spent the day working from a landmark? Additional food and beverages available through the lobby of Willis Tower - Starbucks, Corner Bakery a tenant-filled restaurant called Market Creations, and it's twin called French Accent. Both of those seem a little too restaurant-like to work in, but the tables and chairs by Argo Tea seem good. Wifi note, you will need to access "IllinoisNet_Start" and sign-up for a guest account to get a connection. Takes about 15-minutes to figure that out. Pictures in the post here."
