The Morning Times

"Always crowded, because it is a mainstay for the city-center crowd. With all of the residential going in around it, other shops are popping up, but Morning Times is still the original and will continue to hold that nostalgia for a long time. Semi-old school hot breakfast options are quite frankly your best option in the area if you want speed and comfort. Coffee is spot-on and not over-roasted or over-priced. Tried-and-true Empire Eats ownership, so it's consistent, but not overly cliquey or hyper-hipster. Wifi is pretty good here and the upstairs is wonderfully lit by natural light, but not in a way that provides any glare. Good view, cozy feeling, but open. Long-haul working is not the best here, it is truly a place to meet and talk. I wouldn't read a book in here, but I would read/write a blog post in this environment and feel damn good about it."
