How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

It wasn’t sought out. I used to work on my business from home, but saw all clients in person. Once my business shifted to a different audience almost seven years ago, I realized that I was able to work from anywhere with an internet connection and leveraged what whenever I could.

What do you do for work and for fun?

Community building, writing, podcasting, traveling, concerts, cultural performances, cooking

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Los Angeles. Being a connector is part of my DNA. I share resources constantly and love to turn people on to new things.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I can’t remember because its been a while – over a year I think! LA is a big city with lots of remote workers (part time and full time) and people are ALWAYS looking for great spaces.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Get (and stay) organized. Be a self-starter and self-motivated.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Avoid peak traffic times if you don’t want to blow most of your work day sitting in a car or stuck on a bus.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

Great user experience. No suggestions for 2017 at this time
