How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I’ve worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2008 and I’ve always wanted to be home-based (remote). In 2015 I was able to get a job at a company that I’ve always wanted to work for, have the same position, and be home-based.

What do you do for work and for fun?

I work for a pharmaceutical company as a Clinical Research Associate. For fun, I like to do yoga, walk my dog, and travel.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Chicago, IL. I recently moved back to Chicago and want to explore the city and get work done at the same time.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I usually work from home but sometimes it can be very isolating. So I started looking for good cafes or restaurants around my city to work at to get out of the house once in a while and found WorkFrom.
I think Chicago is well known for having good food and there’s always new restaurants and businesses opening. Also, there are a lot of working professionals in the city. It’s nice to have a site like WorkForm that could bring the two together.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

I like that it provides information about the cafe or restaurant that’s specific for working (i.e. WiFi speed, outlet availability, noise level).
