What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to bring Workfrom here?

I live in São Paulo – Brasil, we got a lot of unexplored and nice places to work here, not only bars, cafes and restaurants, also our mayor is starting a free wi-fi program in public locations like squares and parks. I’m from Santos – Brasil, a medium size a shore city nearby São Paulo, a very calm and safe place to be outside. I think the creatives and developers community in São Paulo can be more social and cool, gathering at some places.

How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I actually work for a big company where i spend my work-hours, but in my free time i like to do some extra work, study and launch new ventures, and its boring to be always at home.

Do you still work remotely?

Yes, all the time i can.

What do you do for work and for fun?

I’m a system analyst in a big us company, doing some analysis, database admin, web and mobile development. In my free time i like to hang out with friends and play sports like football (soccer?) and surfing.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from Sāo Paulo or Santos?

Get out of your bubble. Enjoy our mixed up and friendly culture, everyone here is up to help. But be careful with your belongings and be conscious that you are in a 3º world country.
