How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I work for Envato and one of our perks is being able to work from anywhere, at any time. So while I’m not a 100% remoter, I do spend 2-3 days a week working from home or a variety of cafes.

What do you do for work and for fun?

I’m the Learning & Development Lead at Envato. I also lead our LGBTI Inclusion group. When I’m not working I love spending time with my friends either out or entertaining at home. I enjoy fitness, love cooking and have a couple of cats. Life’s pretty good 🙂

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Melbourne Australia. I want to be an ambassador as it doesn’t appear you have a strong presence here yet and I’d love to help!

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

Someone from Envato who works in the US mentioned Workfrom and I love the idea of sharing great places to work. It would be great to see you become a more popular resource in Melbourne!

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Melbourne is officially the most liveable city in the world 😀 The variety in city styles and our love of pop up cafes and bars is second to none. Whatever you mood or aesthetic, there is sure to be somewhere for you.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

Melbourne is the city of laneways and hidden cafes/bars/restaurants. Having a resource like Workfrom to know where the great places to work from could be an awesome resource
