How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?
Endlessly seeking the WFH.
Do you still work remotely?
What do you do for work and for fun?
I make technology for work, I use technology for fun.
What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?
Miami, Eureka, Santa Cruz, San Diego, Minneapolis, Portland. I want to ambassador because I work from home and I like to get out and see places.
How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?
I follow PDX startup news. I think it’s a useful tool.
Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?
Sure. Nail down your productivity workflow. I’d recommend 2 or 3 multi-hour chunks, bookended by rewarding activities. Figure out when in the day is most appropriate for a given task. I like to write in the morning, when I don’t have a bunch of brain noise. I like to meet in the afternoon/evening, because it’s relaxing. I like to code late at night, when there are no distractions.
Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?
Miami is terrible unless you have a car.
What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?
The ambassador program. Idk. I haven’t used it enough to say what would be the next best step
