How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I am Oregon’s 2nd Certified Personal Photo Organizer and sometimes you just need to step outside your home, be with people, and enjoy doing work at places where people gather!

Do you still work remotely?

Absolutely!

What do you do for work and for fun?

For work…Personal Photo Organizing, studying calligraphy from an calligraphy teacher who was taught by the same teacher who taught Steve Jobs calligraphy (without calligraphy in Steve Job’s life, there would not be the font system on Apple Computers and devices). I am also a graphic designer and photographer. Let’s just say I am a photo imaging/printing/organizing expert! =)

For fun…Checking out new hangouts/spaces, enjoy company of friends, attending cooking classes, attending spiritual classes, going for walks in the park, going to the library, reading, journaling, coloring (coloring books for adults), baking. I know there’s more…=)

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

I call “Portland, Oregon” (and surrounding areas) home. I want to be ambassador because I’am an information junkie and love to give feedback and share thoughts on how not to stress out about little things in life (like no work spaces at coffee shops…drama!) =)

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I just found out through a link on LinkedIn about a knowing if a place is crowded or not by a small Density device.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Don’t put your drinks next to your computers or mobile devices. Put them on a window sill or some place where you will not knock it over.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Not at this time.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

Like myself, I find it frustrating that there are no spaces to work at your favorite places.

As far as what I would like to see above all else…I cannot think of any since I just started.
