How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I started working remotely after meeting people who did so at various portland tech meet-ups, through calagator.org and meetup.com, and also through the coworking week held in 2015.

What do you do for work and for fun?

Web & Web App & Mobile App developer. For fun: bicycling, running, yoga, hiking, movies, theatre, podcasts, music, especially gypsy jazz.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Portland, Oregon

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

Through Jewel Mnarik and the Coworking week held in Portland in 2015.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Portland is the perfect city to co-work: free WiFi is practically ubiquitous in most locations, there are _lots_ of great places (with great eats!) to co-work and dedicated co-working businesses like Central Office or DeskHub.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

I love the community building Workfrom promotes, the connected promotions, and discovering new, great places to gather and co-work through Workfrom meet-ups. I would like to see Workfrom.co’s web site incorporate features like on-line a WebRTC feature to allow remote teleconferencing and screen-sharing, and a button to indicate Clocking out, as well as clocking in to a location.
