How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

Sought. I taught HS for ten years then started working as a curriculum writer when pregnant with my second son. Slowly that morphed into working at home all the time (or out at a coffee dive if possible). Now I’ve been podcasting for 10 years and writing for 13.

What do you do for work and for fun?

Both: podcast
Work: write curriculum and Fun: write YA fiction (Grounded: the seven, book 1)
Fun: hang with my boys, they crack me up

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

New Hope, PA. I’m traveling more and an always looking for the “right” place to work. Your places are mine. I’d love to help others find the right places, too.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

Stumbled on it on the app store.
New Hope is wonderful and funky but beyond the Starbucks… Not much for writers.
This will help me search and MAYBE encourage some places in town to m get their writer face on.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Nope. My work-ness is pretty specialized and weird.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Not yet. (See above)

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

Haven’t played enough to know, yet.
