How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

An office is boring. My house is full of distractions. Outside is fun but my battery won’t last forever. I started working remotely when I started working on my coaching business. I was a bit forced to start working remotely as I couldn’t concentrate when I was home.

Do you still work remotely?

Almost everyday!

What do you do for work and for fun?

I help different businesses and non-profit develop strategically and I work on my own coaching business! For fun I swim, bike and run. I have so much fun doing so that it motivated me starting my own business.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Montreal, Qc. I want to become an ambassador to make my city more accessible to nomads and remote workers who come from around the world to visit the beautiful city that is Montreal.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I don’t remember where I found about Workfrom but it must have been from a blog post. I think Workfrom is a great place to start a community and to help anybody discover a new city or their own.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Get a plan, stick to it or throw it out and always expect and embrace the unexpected!

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Don’t always go to the same places! The Plateau and the Mile-End are great places with a euro/hipster vibe, but there are so many great spots all around the island! Also, don’t be afraid to bike the city. Montreal is so much fun by bike!

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

I don’t know yet! I’ll think about it though!
