How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

It was something I yearned for because I love the flexibility/freedom it comes with, but I started picking up clients by word of mouth/referrals, outside of my day job.

What do you do for work and for fun?

Lots of travel, guitar, checking out new cafes and restaurants. I am a big coffee fan.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

San Francisco, Chiang Mai – I am from SF but will be working remotely starting in Chiang Mai. I want to be an ambassador because this platform is an amazing idea and needs more data to be successful!

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I was searching for cafes with wifi speeds in SF. There needs to be more data for cafes with wifi download/upload speeds. It would be a real useful tool if there are more reliable data/users on the platform.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Take inventory of useful online tools to make working remotely more productive! For example, I use Skype, cloud storage (Box), FreshBooks, Slack, and Trello.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

Network with people in SF because there are so many co-working communities, not just in cafes, but in co-working spaces and meet ups.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

I like how it integrates with slack and there is community behind this website. The UI is beautiful. I would like to see relationship with local cafes
