Pioneer Q & A
How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?
Lived in Washington, DC, wanted to move to Colorado, so started hunting for remote work. Found a sweet full-time job with Litmus (www.litmus.com) and moved to CO for a year.
Then, 10 months ago, my wife and I moved out of our apartment and started slow-traveling around. We’ve been all over the US, and to Argentina and Costa Rica. Have a lot more travel scheduled in the next few months in Europe.
Do you still work remotely?
What do you do for work and for fun?
Customer Success for Litmus, and for fun, I read and rock climb.
What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?
How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?
Somewhere in #nomads, iirc
Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?
I’ve written a lot about remote work:
^ comprehensive about what I have to say
Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?
Golden, CO is the best place ever. Don’t move there, though, its getting crowded.
I’m not part of the problem, of course. /s
What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?
I’d like to see it grow large enough that I can reliably find popular work locations in any city I’m in.
