How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I work remotely since I’m learning to code. The other times I worked remotely were because I moved across the country.

Do you still work remotely?

While learning, yes!

What do you do for work and for fun?

Unemployed but learning code is my work. For fun: board games, video games, tasty beer and tasty coffee, live music.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Portland, and occasionally Chicago. I love the idea of working at a 3rd place and you help me find them.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

It’s weird to see workers in bars, still. And please: don’t conduct Skype/ phone meetings in coffeeshops.
