How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I was taking online classes in 2009 and wanted to go on a road trip…during finals. Somehow, I made it work, and I’ve been working online ever since–coaching small businesses, doing product photography, and writing web copy, informational articles and blog posts.

What do you do for work and for fun?

I (mostly) write for work and travel for fun.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Denver, CO and San Luis Obispo, CA. I’ve been working remotely since before it was cool, and WorkFrom is the kind of resource I’ve been searching for all my life!

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I was searching Google for a new place to work in Denver. I want to bring it to the areas outside Denver and to San Luis Obispo County (California) for those of us who don’t live downtown or in a big city!

Find your tribe, even if you prefer to work alone.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

I like the social media setup that is more useful than purely socia. Does that make sense?
