Pioneer Q & A
How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?
It was more of an accident: I didn’t get a visa extension in the US and had nowhere else to go except for everywhere. So I became a nomad.
Do you still work remotely?
What do you do for work and for fun?
I’m a scientist, designer, and engineer, and run the machine intelligence consulting firm Knot 6-3. That’s the fun part. Work? I go scuba diving, play jazz, and cook a lot. Work isn’t so bad, either.
How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your cities?
I think I was actively Googling for something like Workfrom. Hence it had to exist.
What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?
More, more, and even more places and people – and how to connect these two!
Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?
Bring a towel.
Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from Berlin, Barcelona and San Francisco?
Skip the tourist stuff.
