How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I’ve never known anything else – I grew up as an expat child and always thought it was normal to shift countries every few months or years! Haha. Then I guess by sheer luck and timing I graduated college right when being able to freelance on the internet was becoming mainstream and easy and almost acceptable as a career choice.

Do you still work remotely?

Of course

What do you do for work and for fun?

I’m an illustrator & designer for work. It’s also for fun. But real-not-working-fun probably includes reading a ton, starting collaboration / networking groups, running, yoga, and hunting down unknown cafes.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Ho Chi Minh, Chiang Mai, Prague, Singapore. I travel a lot. I work from cafes & co-working spaces. I keep lists of all this stuff anyway and want to help others find the good spots.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

Saw you guys on Product Hunt. Looks like a gret a idea but clearly only going to work if you get a massive amount of collaboration and input from people actually on the ground. I’m always frustrated having to rely on the piece-meal info off foursqaure, facebook, and word of mouth to find the good spots in new cities I move to.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Build being social into your daily life however possible. You very, very quickly go crazy without it.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

More places listed in the platform. It’s not much use right now to be honest but it has so much potential.
