How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

Started working remotely very recently (Aug 2016) after finishing a permanent office-based contract role. I’ve always strived to work remotely and have the freedom of choice, but ended up taking the plunge a lot sooner after I couldn’t find an office-based job and was working with remote clients.

What do you do for work and for fun?

For work, digital project management and startup consulting.

For fun, surfing, cycling, learning to code.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

Auckland, NZ; London, England; Prague, Czech Republic; Bratislava, Slovakia; I love travelling and sharing great secret places with my friends.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

Can’t remember how I found out about it – I think it’s a great tool for remote workers like myself.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

If you’re like me (attention span of a bumblebee), find a spot without too many visual distractions – facing the wall, etc.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

Like the speed of adding new spaces and the general UI. It would be good to add a clash detection – as I just accidentally added a place which was already in the DB.
