How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I started working remotely, really, when I lived in the middle of nowhere New Mexico and it didn’t make sense to drive an hour to get to an office when I could just as easily do it from home.

Yep!

How did you find places to work from before Workfrom?

Yelp. Word of mouth. Meetups. Random Google searches, and trial and error. Divining rod. Magic 8 Ball.

What do you like most about Workfrom?

The UI.

The inclusion of critical-to-work info like WIFi speeds & power outlets.

The founders.

The fact that it exists.

What would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year? (e.g .you mentioned a reminder – to ask if you want to add a new location when your phone/laptop recognizes a new network)

I would love to see coworking spaces added, with clear distinctions between them and the coffee shops. As in, I’d love to see a separate heading/section on the homepage like “Open Late” “Outdoor Seating” “Coworking Space” — since they are a different animal than coffee shops, and it can be such a good thing for people to find their ‘home base’ even if they continue to venue hop a good percentage of the time, so they know where to go when they need… oh, LOL. Maybe just use the section heading: “Ergonomic Chairs.”
