How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?
I started working remotely due to my venture in a new startup I co-founded; which at the start we had to work in cafes coffee places.

Do you still work remotely?
Yes, I do! Though now we do have our own co-working space but I still occasionally visit cafes to work from.

How did you find places to work before Workfrom?
I used to do coffee hopping while I work; trying out new coffee places and at the same time working from place to place prior to stumbling onto Workfrom.

How did you find out about Workfrom and why you want to bring it to Kuala Lumpur?
Google! I was curious to know certain reviews on the internet speeds of some cafes I was at, and found the site. I think the community here would benefit from this as how the startup community is coming up in Malaysia.

What would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?
I would be interested to see the growth of the community above all else, and having workroom.co listing more places and cafes here in Kuala Lumpur.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?
Working remotely does improve your productivity and you might also meet new people who are like-minded as you. Visit workfrom.co and list the cafe you are at; it will benefit yourself and others!

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from Kuala Lumpur?
There are plenty of cafes around in Kuala Lumpur; but some might not provide the adequate space and environment to work from. Look for some of the cafes listed in workfrom.co and start from there!
