To me, deafening silence, rather than the hustle and bustle of a vivacious coffee shop. Makes it hard for collaboration by whispering.
For more quiet, It’s best to sit as far away from the central stairwell as possible. Lot’s of kids crying and screaming in the stairwell sometimes for 1/2 an hour or more.
