Pro Tips

Nice standing friendly bar upstairs, super friendly staff, big comfy couches and chairs downstairs. There is a sidewalk bike corral next to Screen Door.

Restroom is a little weird, you get a key from the bar and walk around the building to the back.

Car parking probably not great because of Screen Door next door, but it's right on the 20 bus line and a block from Ankeny neighborhood greenway!

  • This place is set up nicely. Make sure to bring good earphones. They play their music way too loud.

  • Excellent ginger coffee!

  • The most helpful staff! They are kind and patient and willing to explain everything! Coffee infused with ginger and lemongrass, kimchee rice bowls and roti…even the punchcards are cute!

  • They’ve just started serving an incredible Indonesian street food menu. You can’t miss this, especially the Nasi & Dahl with chicken. Oh my god.

  • New place, the owner is really happy to have workfrom peeps here. If you haven’t walked in, do so- there’s a full “basement” section, it isn’t just the tiny storefront.
