Montréal Café
"It's a small place, seating about 26. Mostly deuce tables and a few tables for four, including the booth bench in the back which seats six. The three deuces by the front window could be put together to form seating for four to eight. There are outlets along the walls, except where there are heating units running along the baseboard. There are no outlets along the back bench seat. Nice street views from windows on two walls."

This cafe closed towards the end of 2017. There’s a new cafe in it’s place – ok to work in, but no wifi.
The cafe is about a ten-minute walk from the Laurier metro station. The #27 bus runs west down St. Joseph but is not very reliable. Good butcher shop across the street and cheese and bread shops nearby. There’s also a park down the street.
