Portland Community College, Mt. Tabor Hall

Workability Rating

"Mt. Tabor Hall is very quiet especially during the summer to fall/winter seasons when the students are out. It's very open with tons of natural light. There's about 20 smaller tables that can accommodate up to four people. The tables are modular so they can easily fit large groups and great for one person with a laptop if you're solo. Four outlets are on the south facing windows and one on each if the three columns. Old School Coffee is also on campus and within walking distance if you're needing some coffee, chai, or grub. They recently upgraded the WiFi so speeds on "PCC-Guest" are about 50-60 Mb/sec. When signing on, you'll just need to create a temporary login & pass which is valid for two days. VPN software doesn't work in here so just disable it. Otherwise, you'll be blocked by their firewall."
