State Library of Victoria

Workability Rating

"The La Trobe reading room has incredible architecture and natural sunlight, and every desk has an outlet. It's a dedicated quiet room, so is usually less crowded than some of the other rooms, but you have lots of options. Wifi can be slow in the afternoons / evening when nearby RMIT students come in to do homework."

  • WiFi is really bad here 🙁

  • The central entry floor is good for making calls, level three is good for focused/quiet work.

  • I was able to access a VPN using the library internet.

The library’s wifi does not allow access to a VPN.
