Tryst

Workability Rating

"Bright, bustling, huge open space with all kinds of seating (small tables, communal tables, couches, comfy chairs. Their tagline is: No corporate coffee, no matching silverware. No wifi from the beginning of happy hour Friday until 8pm Sunday night. Wifi password changes every few weeks.Friendly, energizing place where all kinds of people meet to work, talk, eat, drink at almost all hours. Not for the easily-distracted. This note from Tryst: "Adams Morgan is a very popular drinking destination on Fridays and Saturday nights. Therefore, for underage folks safety and drinking underage reinforcement policies, we are 21 and over starting at 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. A door person will be checking ID’s in the front door on both nights.""

  • Tryst does not have wifi on the weekends.

Free water refills from the waiter. Decent looking place with lot of seats and good radio music. However very limited outlets and the AC in one of the restrooms is extremely cold.

Wifi is incredibly slow. Great space to work though!

  • It’s a comfortable workspace, which stays comfortable until late at night. It definitely gets loud, but if you don’t mind that, it’s a great place to camp out later in the day as well. Remember there isn’t wifi over the weekends (including Friday nights). The food and coffee is great, and there is something amazing about being able to order a beer/wine and still be in a space where work gets done.

  • Pretty comfortable workspace. Relaxing and the waitstaff is nice and service prompt. Definitely gets loud.
