Upper Left Roasters +3

Workability Rating

"New space opened early August 2015. Outlets along the walls under the standing desks/bars. Baristas are enthusiastic about welcoming laptop workers and I saw some folks working when I stopped by on a Sunday morning.Plenty of seating, big communal tables for groups, decent food, outside one tops to enjoy sunny days, no limit to staying, wifi is free and medium speed (but you know, by some stuff periodically if you're there a while, it's just nice) - street parking, upper Ladd's behind Shell Station."

One of the most frequented, most trusted spaces in Portland. Always enjoy working from here. Try the croissant sandwich 👍🏾

My favorite place to work in this neighborhood. Fast WiFi but it goes down occasionally. Great coffee, great food, and really friendly staff. Plenty of places to plug in and work.

I had to shut down my VPN software to get connected. Once I was connected, I was able to enable VPN.

got some work done here today. consistently filled with others working. great vibe. the wifi was sluggish today and i suspect it’s due to the heavy use. at least 25 visible devices using it right now 🙂

  • Note that I tried to use my work VPN and couldn’t access any work servers. This doesn’t happen at all coffee shops, but certainly doesn’t only happen here. Worth noting tho.

  • plenty of seating. $1 drip coffee refills. lots of natural light. low volume music. great for conversation + work.

  • great open faced sandwiches available until 3pm.
the cold brew infused with cacao is fantastic!

They sell growlers of their cold brew too 🙂 Love this spot! Outlets all along the walls and even some good outside seating too. I’ve never had an issue with noise level either. The food they serve is toast on steroids – always a great snack between coffee and working.

fantastic espresso. great pour-over coffee. nice selection of pastries. overhead music’s not too loud. lots of natural light. good ambiance.
