How did you start working remotely? Was it something you sought out or stumbled into?

I started dreaming about working remotely the first time I visited Asia in 2013 (Sri Lanka). Since then, I’ve working towards it and two months ago I left my job with a one-way ticket to Southeast Asia. I’m now working remotely.

What do you do for work and for fun?

I’m an Technical SEO consultant, a job I love (I already did back in Madrid), so working is actually fun. When I’m not working, I love getting to new places, epxlore new cultures, try new things or just enjoy the amazing beaches.

What cities do you call “home” and why do you want to be a Workfrom ambassador?

I’m currently remote working from Southeast Asia

How did you find out about Workfrom and why do you want to bring it to your area?

I’m always checking the trends and new startups around the “remote work” niche through Twitter, Facebook, Slack communities… I would love to add new spaces as where I’m travelling now, normally there are no spaces in your app.

Any tips you’d like to share for others wanting to or already working remotely?

Just do it! It’s scary and a big life change but it’s totally worth it.

Any tips for those wanting to visit and work from your area?

No as I don’t have a current city right now. But about Southeast asia, just come and visit! It’s difficult not fall in love with this area.

What do you like most about Workfrom, and what would you like to see above all else come from us in the next year?

I love the concept of a places directory focused on remote workers, as nowhere else you can find wifi speeds, number of plugs, number of seats, etc. I would love to see the app improved and that you also add hotels/guesthouses/etc. (It would be amazing to make a reservation of a hotel knowing if it has a table to work from, wifi, etc.)
