This Passion House is directly across the street from the Logan Square Blue Line El stop. After you’ve soaked up the goodness here, walk next door to the pizza joint, Reno (note: they’re cash only). Once you’ve worked awhile and supped on Reno’s excellent pizza, head up north on Milwaukee just past the El station, to Intelligentsia. Order a siphon or a Solo or whatever exotic brewing system they’re using. Then walk south along Milwaukee, crossing Logan Square, to New Wave. You can work till 9pm here if you’d like, and groove to the 80’s new wave music. That’s 4 exceptional cafes in a 1-block radius around an El stop. Can’t beat that for a day out computing!
There are similar circuits around each El station on the Blue Line south to the Grand Ave. station (although they require a bit more walking or a short bus ride). Plus there are a few coworks and incubators along that route too.
This is one reason Milwaukee has earned the nickname “the hipster highway”!
Bowtruss went belly up months ago. A new coffee shop called Passion House coffee roasters opened in this location
