I’ve tried all of the cafe’s around City Hall. I finally check reviews on here and this is by far the best place I’ve found to work remotely and it’s only a few blocks from City Hall. They serve Peet’s Coffee and drinks are 50% with a Capital One card. Plenty of spaces to work collaboratively, too. I agree that it gets very busy at peak times, but it’s well worth the wait to get a spot. Outlets and phone charging stations at most seats.
My go-to in Philly. Good amount of chairs, outlets, decent Wi-Fi, and great atmosphere for working.
I am not sure who reported the 70Mbps at this location and it may have been that way before they started seeing a lot of traffic, but it looks like they have throttled it down to about 7 or 8 Mbps. Still pretty decent though, stable, ok coffee and plenty of seats, plugs, and USB ports. Very impressed.
1/2 priced drinks if you use your Capital One card. Great open spaces. Even have small break out meeting rooms.
