Ebenezer's Coffeehouse
"Warm & Industrial: dark stone floor, cast iron stools, and what appears to be some reclaimed wooden tables, bright copper pipes across the ceiling .There are also some comfortable, individual couches. This isn't a great place for conference calls or large group work, but it's perfect for individual work, or work with one other person. Consider brining noise canceling headphones if you need silence to get in the zone. It's right next to Union Station, so it's a perfect spot to post up while you're waiting for a train. It's conveniently located near the metro station, and there is also a Capital Bikeshare station nearby."

I don’t even live in DC, but every time I need to get work done in the city. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Can always find a spot (though sometimes at a very small table– I plop there and wait for something better to open). Also, it’s a secret nonprofit! Would recommend to anyone.
Spacious, music a bit loud, large patio, overall a great place to work.
