"Cafe Otra Parte is my favorite public space/ cafe to get work done or meet in Medellín. It's located behind the former house/ now museum of a famous Colombia philosopher - hence the name "Otra Parte."It's just a little out of the way if you're located in Poblado (and far away if you're in Laureles), but the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, the food and drinks high quality. It's the atmosphere that makes it so good - breezy open spaces, a pond, natural light, etc. Much, much less crowded than the cafes in Pobaldo 10 minutes north. It's a great spot to get to work and settle into your groove."
