Recreational Coffee
"Great little coffee shop in the heart of Long Beach. It's got a good groove and is a nice place to sit down and crank through some work/research. There's plenty of seating, although it looks pretty minimal from the front. The coffee is actually quite good (Case Roasters?) and there's pastries and stuff if you're looking for something to munch on. The wifi is fast, according to the speed test, so if you're looking to get going, here's a good place. There's a 5$ all-day parking lot literally right across the street. Easy in, easy out."

Parking lot across is closed so be prepared to pay for a parking garage (2 hrs free in city lot garages and $10-$12 max for a day) in order to work here. Music and construction was too loud to take meetings but I recommend the place if you just want to keep your head down and work.
