"Delightful coffee shop with ample seating, good wifi, and super friendly staff. Kate, who's the owner/sole employee started Sparrow less than 6 months ago and is always behind the counter serving up coffee with a smile. It's inside of/attached to New Life Church's lobby space, but has it's own seating and atmosphere.There's a variety of seating options, from stools at tall tables for laptop work, comfy lounge chairs perfect for catching up, to. couches around the fireplace that make me want to curl up with a mocha and good book.If you're work requires a laptop (which is likely, considering you're on WorkFrom ), there currently aren't a lot of outlets. There's 4 plugs over the bar seating opposite the front counter, and a few near the lounge chairs (and probably one or two others), but given that this isn't a super busy location (yet), you shouldn't have trouble finding an open plug.One other thing that totally doesn't affect remote work but makes me want to support this little coffee shop, is that they donate a significant portion of their proceeds to non-profits around the Springfield area. For January they're partnered with Teen Challenge, and they rotate every month. Kate, the super awesome lady who owns/works the counter has a passion for helping those in need, and is working to grow this coffee shop to help even more people."
