"This Stumptown Coffee location is not new to Portland but new to Chicago, opening Dec 2017 with its own space at the side of the lobby in the also new Ace Hotel. The hotel connection means several levels of hospitality—the shop area is big enough, but baristas tell me it's also fine to grab a coffee and spread out further into the chic lobby fitted with panel wood and retro couches and floor to ceiling glass—plus a full bar.Wifi ping times are very good, but speeds are throttled to very slow. Fine for basic web browsing but probably not much else."
