The Grand Central Coffee Company

Workability Rating

"The place is huge with all kinds of seating including a large covered patio and all sorts of nooks upstairs as well as a balcony. It was pretty much empty when I was here, which is unfortunate because while it's quiet with nice soft music playing is doesn't have much of a vibe. It's brand new though, so perhaps it will catch on."

I love this place. It is very quiet and library-like upstairs….and has good coffee too. There is a huge, covered outdoor space that I am looking forward to trying.

This place is absolutely amazing. Huge with a ton of space. They will be open 24/7 soon but open to midnight on week days and 2am on weekends.

This is a wonderful place. I love the various nooks and crannies, and the Harry Potter/Steam punky feel to the place, in lighting and decor. They have an outside area as well, which is super nice with a fountain with direct bar space on the inside and the outside as well. They not only have coffee and fresh baked goods, from bagels to cookies and cupcakes, and brownies and rum pecan pie…. but also a full bar and lots of craft beer on tap, like around 24 different beers give or take on or two. The wireless has been good for me to work, and the music mostly not too loud. It’s not quiet, but not on the loud side either. Very chill and a variety of places to hunker down and work, from sofas to regular tables. Right now they are open until midnight, but will be 24/7 soon and are just a couple of weeks away from opening the kitchen, so there will be more food choices. For those of us that work Eastern time hours, a 24 hour schedule will be a rare and welcome treat as I will then be able to even start my workday from a different and interesting spot! The staff are wonderful. I really like this place a lot!
