Monti's Cafe

Workability Rating

"On nice days, garage door opens & outside seating can access outlet just inside the door. Inside an antique mall (Monticello Antique Marketplace), tables and chairs are solid & sturdy. Semi-private spaces with tables between book shelves and some open space tables/chairs. 2 lounge chairs. Good variety of spaces for small meetings, studying & solo working."

This corn bread is pretty great.

They don’t accept American Express here.

  • Good coffee and pastries, lots and lots of table space, much quieter than other options in the neighborhood. Wifi seems decent (39mbps).

New opening hours: 7am-5pm on weekdays

  • While there are a few downsides to this location – not the fastest internet, limited plugins, etc. – their internet has still consistently been one of the most dependable for me, and I do get a lot of work done here. Their staff are friendly, they have good food, cheap refills on coffee, and if you need to take a break from your work, the cafe adjoins a very nice antique mall where you can wander and blow some money on antiques and various quirky memorabilia.
