Music is great today, a little louder than most coffee shops, but not obnoxious. I made a few business phone calls while here and no one on the other end of the phone could hear the music. 👍🏻

Above average volume of music right now. Not bad for most things but I’d hesitate to take an important call at this level. Busy with others working around me at 4pm on a Thursday. Finding a seat was not an issue.

Maybe it depends on who is working that day, but the music is too loud for me. Otherwise great spot to work.

  • Wifi speeds are great and seating/outlet access is pretty good too. However, noise levels at this cafe are ridiculous. Music is absurdly loud. It’s incredibly difficult to concentrate in this environment. Putting my headphones in with more pleasant music couldn’t even drown out the sound.

Agreed, I’m there now and it’s a bit loud.

Music is far too loud to work. I couldn’t wait to get out of this place.

    WiFi speeds have increased. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4323845402

This place is really great. Friendly staff, great coffee, and a wide variety of places to sit. Small two person tables were somewhat wobbly, so I moved to the bar. The sofas in the back looked very comfy however, and the breeze through the shop felt great on a warm day.

They’ve somewhat recently increased their network speeds dramatically. Some of the best download speed I’ve found in Portland shops.

  • this really is one of the most pleasant places to work “from home.” the coffee is great. the staff is cool. their wireless can be flakey, though. When there are a ton of people here I regularly go through a series of connection failures before I get a spot in their network.

This is becoming one of my staples. The Wi-Fi here is great and I really like the vibe. I like the room in the back with sofas for times when I want to sink in and do some reading or research. I wish there was more to snack on at this location but there is access to good food nearby. There are usually lots of others working from this location which I like.
