Indie Coffee Passport is a concept that gives customers the opportunity to discover their city’s independent coffee culture. Originally started in Toronto, this project has gotten coffee lovers in the door and outside their stomping grounds since 2010. Now running in Chicago and Washington DC, Indie Coffee Passport is teaming up with Workfrom to highlight some amazing places to work remotely while enjoying a cup of craft coffee and experiencing the local coffee culture.
The idea is simple. Purchase a passport and get one coffee or tea drink (up to $5 menu price) at each of the participating coffee shops across each city. Each shop has a list of 4-6 drinks for passport holders to choose from, ranging anywhere from basic coffees and teas to signature, and specialty drinks.

The passport card lists each of the coffee shops names, as well as their address and phone number. Those with a passport will receive a check mark or stamp from each of the shops they visit in exchange for their “free” drink of choice.
Indie Coffee Passports are perfect for remote workers, coffee lovers, new city dwellers, or the generally neighborhood curious. Check out the website and start exploring today!
The Indie Coffee Passport Washington DC costs $20 for drinks at 16 independent Washington D.C. coffee shops, valid December 1st, 2015-June 30th, 2016
